Application Software Support Specialist

Access Staffing is conducting a search for an Application Software Products Support Specialist to assist customers by analyzing and resolving complex software issues.

This is a direct hire/fulltime/onsite position located in South Florida (near Broward/Miami-Dade County line) with a 150 year old, 16,000 employee, international technology and commercial products company. You will join a 3-person team responsible for technical support for customers, via telephone and Internet, for application software products that run in a Windows environment. Local candidates are being considered.

This is NOT a help desk, network support, PC support, system or network administration, hardware repair or desktop support for internal users. It is functional, technical and operational support of complex application software products. No travel involved (some may be required during training). On rotation coverage for non-business hours.

They are looking for someone with:

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

• Professional experience providing support to customers or users on ERP, accounting or similar complex application software products.

• Basic knowledge of SQL is required, with the ability to write simple SQL queries and extract and analyze data from SQL databases

• A degree in MIS, CIS or similar preferred
