RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Data Integration Engineer in Miramar, Florida (FL)
General Responsibilities
* Understand, implement and monitor integration requirements from several data sources and endpoints (including API, Database, Flat File, Email, etc.)
* Define and implement best practices on data integration, data cleansing, data enriching, data quality and data readiness
* Develop applications in several environments
* Measure and verify the proper data flow including integration and reporting platforms
* Generate operational and business reports
* Ability to troubleshoot and debug code/workflows
* Review and manage pipeline deployment, including third party developed pipeline
* Implement business rules in the data workflow. These rules are inspired by data and defined by the Marketing team
* Ability to work in a fast paced global environment
* Vetting data and digital marketing platforms to ensure business use cases are met
* Automate manual processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of Overall IT experience
* 2+ years experience building and optimizing data integration pipelines, architectures and data sets
* Detail process oriented
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with polyglot programming (Python used extensively)
* Experience with HTTP API and web services
* Good business analyst and requirements gathering/writing skills
* Strong SQL skills with ability to write intermediate complexity queries
* Experience in translating business requirements to strong ETL processes
* Proven ability to understand and start projects quickly
* Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
* Experience with general software development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, etc.)
* Team-oriented experience with diverse teams
* Experience integrating data from structured and unstructured formats: flat files, XML, JSON, EXCEL
Preferred (Not Required)
* Experience with interaction with marketing and data science teams
* Experience with Customer Data Platforms
* Experience working with Marketing Automation Platforms
* Passion for data science, ML, AI
* AWS experience – Multiple VPC
* Experience with the following platforms: Salesforce, Zendesk, Facebook Ads, Marketo, Google Ads, Iterable, Nudgespot, Looker, Mailchimp, AutoPilot, etc
* Javascript
