Azure Cloud Engineer
Overview:
Talento HCM has been engaged by a high growth multi-billion-dollar travel organization based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to identify a Cloud Engineer specialized in Azure cloud to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Azure Cloud engineer specialized in Azure Cloud to serve as the technical expert and engineer for Azure which, will also include gaining direct experience with the full migration to the cloud. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced with investigating and analyzing systems requirements for feasibility along with maintenance and ongoing support in the delivery of other special projects supporting Azure Cloud platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your technical expertise in Azure cloud, active directory, and other complex systems administrations functions.
Responsibilities:
Provides 24/7 uptime for mission-critical cloud and on premise-based operations and revenue-generating eCommerce systems.
Plan and direct major infrastructure systems projects of significant importance to the organization, or vital components of these complex systems which typically impact critical operations and large or multiple user groups.
Design, develop, manage, implement and maintain complex information systems; conceptual and strategic analytical capacity to understand information system and operational business issues to analyze and evaluate critical system matters thoroughly
Evaluate resource requirements and make recommendations for host system integration and bandwidth.
Maintain data center environment and monitoring equipment.
Perform complex tasks designing and maintaining a Microsoft Azure environment.
Work with other teams within IT to migrate hosted systems to the cloud using Azure
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including but not limited to Azure servers.
Configure/add new services as necessary.
Education & Qualifications:
6-8 years of corporate/enterprise level systems administration experience
3 or more years Azure Cloud experience strongly preferred
5 plus years of Microsoft Active Directory And ADFS.
Azure Certification AZ103 is a plus
MCSD or MCSA Certification
VMWare: VCP or higher (Strong Plus)
In-depth knowledge of Azure and Cloud-based hosting, with extensive experience designing, installing, configuration, and implementation
Extensive Sr Level IT Systems infrastructure experience, including Servers, Storage, and Virtual Infrastructure.
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), including the ability to convey complex technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical staff at senior levels, both orally and in writing, in a clear, concise style.
Ability to coordinate the work of others, work to tight deadlines, and handle multiple concurrent projects/activities.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
