POSITION: Senior Application Developer

LOCATION: Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Application Developer’s role is to design, develop and enhance software applications. This can also include translating business requirements from functional specifications into technical requirements for development, application evaluation, application configuration, application and integration testing as well as completing appropriate change management documentation.
The Senior Application Developer will also be responsible for delivering support to end users in the organization for specific software applications. This includes troubleshooting applications (providing Level Three support) and software for all internal end users and external customers to resolve trouble issues per documented trouble tickets
The responsibilities for this role are:
– Develop e-Commerce and Marketing page templates based on provided designs
– Build and maintain marketing automation campaigns that nurture prospects through email and form template creation, landing page development, list segmentation, scoring.
– Implement responsive design ensure that our company website renders well across multiple devices/resolutions.
– Translate design comps and wireframes into HTML5/CSS3+ pages
– Solve business issues by identifying and analyzing detailed requirements to reflect our needs that translate into system designs
– Develop new user-facing features using reusable code and libraries for future use
– Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
– Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
– Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
REQUIRED SKILLS
– Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and knowledge of the wider Salesforce ecosystem
– Salesforce Development/Customizations (APEX, Visual Force) is must. Lightning experience is a great add on.
– Basic Salesforce administrative functions including process builder, triggers and workflow knowledge.
– Prior experience implementing full cycle projects in SF Marketing Cloud.
– Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
– Can develop within responsive design frameworks
– Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
– Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
– Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

– Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
This specific role will be on the Commercial Information Systems & Support team which primarily performs application development and support for our commercial user (sales tools, pricing tools, goals, incentives, etc..). Additionally, this position includes being a proactive participant in the SGWS Release & Change, and Incident Management communities. The following is of chief importance for this position:
* Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce AMP Script, Lighting Platform, HTML5
* Data Modeling concepts / Reporting / metrics gathering
* Proficient understanding of software development methodologies
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to utilize existing resources to resolve problems
* Self-sufficiency and a proactive nature
EDUCATION
– Bachelor’s or Technical Degree Required (computer science, information systems, business administration or other industry related curriculum)
– Note: Sufficient and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements
EXPERIENCE
– 5 or more years of work experience in IT, with a focus on application support
