Overview
Works integrally with Supplier Teams, State General Managers, Sales Leadership, and Regional Sales and Commercial Operations Leadership, focusing on the management and execution of strategic initiatives and new concepts to enhance performance, profitability and competitiveness. Helps drive implementation of customer, supplier and operations strategies to continuously improve business performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide program management and execution on regional and local strategic optimization and performance improvement efforts, including but not limited to:
Salesforce Optimization: Route-to-Market design, sales planning/execution, sales force size/coverage, org. structures, etc.
Customer/Account Modeling and Analysis: Account segmentation, channel strategy, cost-to-serve analytics, ROI, etc.
Performance Management and Efficiencies: Compensation/incentive design, development of KPIs, measurement, etc.
BI/Analytics/SFA: Sales/marketing tools, reporting, execution tracking, KPIs, mobility, CRM, etc.
Coordinate with both Sales and Operations to seek operational efficiencies and cost savings (e.g., supplier/SKU optimization, variable service and delivery levels/fees, etc.)
Support the Supply Chain Supplier Transformation team in implementation of projects to generate shared supplier and distributor savings
Support the Sr. Manager of Commercial Sales Planning in coordination of resources and information from Regions and Markets throughout the process of a collaborative annual bottom-up target build process alongside the supplier
Serve as the single point-of-contact to coordinate and facilitate corporate initiatives, projects, and efforts (e.g., tail and incubation brand strategies, transition planning, enterprise-wide initiatives, etc.)
Develop analysis and presentations in support of major supplier meetings (e.g. top-to-tops)
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor ‘s degree in related field and MBA; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years of relevant experience
Possess the ability to take initiative, proactively look for solutions, work and manage projects within tight deadlines, and communicate to project leadership any challenges/issues in a clear and timely fashion
Must demonstrate a structured, analytical thought process
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Must be able to sustain performance under conditions of stress ‘”such as tight deadlines and detailed questioning
Demonstrate strong critical thinking capabilities and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in reengineering, revenue enhancement, cost containment, and restructuring projects
Comfortable interpreting and manipulating large amounts of data
Supplier relationships and/or knowledge of and experience in selling the portfolio of supplier spirits
Management consulting experience; knowledge and experience in implementation of Problem Solving Methodology and Process Management principles
