Responsibilities: Work will all application owners and other IT stakeholders to build and support a scalable, efficient, and stable virtualization infrastructure Research, plan, design, and implement network technologies using industry best practices to ensure the virtualization infrastructure meets business and technical requirements Assist in developing policies, procedures, and change management for virtualization operations Provide training and knowledge transfer to other IT teams to ensured continued adoption and successful operation of virtualization technologies Work with Project Management team to develop and implement complex projects Basic Qualifications: 5 years performing virtualization in cloud, hybrid and hosted environments 5 years designing and implementing solutions Writing policy and systems descriptions for how multiple environments work together Skills: Understanding of data virtualization platform, preferably Denodo Experience in API development Working knowledge of one of more programming languages such as Java, GoLang, Python Understanding of Database platform access methodology Strong working knowledge of SQL Knowledge of relevant development trends and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CI, etc.) Strong understanding of IP Addressing and routing protocols Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or related field or four years of experience can be substituted for degree – provided by Dice
