Overview Job Purpose Responsible for diagnosing and tracking assigned trouble tickets, triage production issues, document requirements back to development, and perform break fix in a system down situation. Helps to maintain and administer preproduction and QA environments for all software associated with the Tablet project. Responsibilities Essential Duties The position entails being able to diagnose and track assigned trouble tickets, triage production issues to minimize impact and ensure business continuance. Working with multiple departments to manage the release process through QA to the Production Environment. Monitor, maintain, and work to keep and improve product stability to allow for minimum downtime. Work to transition code deployments to utilize a continuous deliveryintegration pipeline to automate deployments into production to minimize human error and speed up the deployment process. Document deployment processes to create a repeatable deployment methodology to reduce errors and ensure a higher percentage of successful deployments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong Communication skills Working knowledge and understanding of .NET framework, IIS, and Windows services and plugins. Provide Tier 3 247 production support Strong problem solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Works good within a cross departmental team environment. Demonstrable analytical and programmer skills. Able to articulate accomplishmentprogress. In depth understanding of windows batch scripting Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 5 plus years of work experience supporting Windows .NET applications. Experience with the following Operating Systems Windows 2016+, Windows Server 2016+ At least one scripting language such as PowerShell, bash, Node.js Database Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL queries and database relationsstructures Application Servers IIS, .NET framework Preferred Qualifications 4 year degree or equivalent experience 3 plus years of work experience with document based data storage and archival. Experience managing systems with AWS Programming Languages VB.NET, C.NET Telecom Background Physical Demands Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.
