Access Staffing is conducting a search for an Application Software Support Analyst with a solid background supporting database driven applications using SQL. This is a direct hirefull time employeeonsite position located in South Florida with a 3 billion, international technology and commercial products company. You will join a team responsible for support for customers, via telephone and Internet, for application software products. No travel involved (some may be required during training). On rotation coverage for non-business hours. Rotating start times (daytime). (Local candidates with will be considered. We are unable to consider candidates on work visas for this position). They are NOT looking for a person whose background is primarily help desk, network support, system or network administration, hardware repair or desktop support for internal users. They are looking for someone with professional experience providing functional, technical and operational support to customers or users on complex database-driven ERP (SAP a plus), industry specific software, time attendance or similar application software products. In addition, technical skills sought include Comfort level with querying data using SQL Comfort level with MySQL or MS SQL Managing an SQL database Ability to structure a database from scratch Familiarity and comfort with PHP and Apache or similar scripting languages Experience with ERP software such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Financials and similar Preferred skillsnot required Not JAVA programming but understanding of things like JAVA joins, indexing and aggregations and CRUD (create, read, update, delete) would be a plus Experience supporting application software in a Linux environment
