Automated QA Test Engineer II

Job Purpose:

Responsible for designing and implementing automation scripts, creates, executes and administers test plans/test cases across the entire spectrum of quality assurance, including but not limited to: exploratory tests, acceptance tests, functional tests, regression tests, smoke tests, usability tests, performance tests, etc.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for automated tests with Selenium WebDriver with C#, Java or Python Programming languages.
  • Responsible for automation using selenium along with Framework like Junit, TestNG, and Cucumber & RestAssured.
  • Responsible for utilizing TestNG for Supported Testing Framework for Grouping Test Cases, Prioritizing Test Cases, Executing Test Batches and Generating Test Results.
  • Utilizes Jenkins automation tool for Continuous Integration
  • Responsible for automated tests with Selenium & Appium.
  • Responsible for automation script writing for web, web services and Mobile Applications, working with Xpath, CSS and ID.
  • Responsible Automated Test Cases from Test plans in the Test Manager
  • Responsible for production deployments and support.
  • Reviews requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  • Identify, record, document, monitors and track bugs through regression testing
  • Develops and applies testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Involved in SDLC and QA testing process from Requirements to Deployment stage.
  • Investigates the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Tracks quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Have strong knowledge in SQL and able to write queries
  • Must be familiar with JIRA and Atlassian product suite.
  • Highly familiarized with web apps – concepts like css/html/xml/json
  • Need candidates who have done end to end testing.
  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of QA SDLC Technical experience
  • 2+ year of Load or Automated Testing experience
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years large Enterprise Systems experience
  • Experience with testing frameworks (libraries like JUnit/TestNG -for java- NUnit -.NET).
  • CSS, HTLM Programming experience.

Physical Demands:

Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Summary:
Performs laboratory testing of patient specimens in one or more sections of the laboratory. May mentor students and/or new hires.

Software Developer I

Job Purpose:

Responsible for development of web applications, mobile applications and web services. Works closely with Product owner and UI/UX team in order in order to implement new solutions as well as troubleshoot existing trouble tickets.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Create and modify web services and web API applications
  • Responsible for coding as well as monitoring the performance and stability.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Investigate issues, determine impact and root cause, and solve.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize performance.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Ability to work in an agile team environment
