Director of Product Management

The Director of Product Marketing Management is responsible for managing all the solution sets and the go-to-market strategies in USA Enterprise Market for Telecommunications and Information Technology Services such as: connectivity, collaboration, security, cloud, IoT, and IT managed services. The role will devise complete product definitions for each aspect of the portfolio to include customer requirements, value proposition, documentation and sales positioning. Through extensive research and collaboration, this role operates to close those gaps, maximize the impact of existing portfolio, innovations, launches, and market penetration strategy.

The ideal candidate comprehends how to develop subject matter expertise on competitive landscape, segmentation and positioning, value proposition, and industry trends for sales teams, channel partners, and the broader organization. The role will work closely with sales, marketing, and others on product messaging and positioning. Work across teams to help shape business and product strategy. Oversee the creation of collateral, including white papers and presentations. Must possess extensive business knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned .

·       End to End Product Marketing Management

·       Develop and execute a strategy for go-to-market of product portfolio across different enterprise markets and sales organizations (direct and indirect)

·       Guided new product development including gap and competitive analysis, end-user research and pricing analysis for benchmarking

·       Work with coordinating departments to create and implement a final project plan and strategy from product development to launch.

·       Act as the essential authority and point of contact for project development concepts, business strategy, and business models.

·       Perform various project management duties, including creating a budget and ensuring it is not exceeded, managing work plans, and facilitating an efficient product development effort between departments.

·       Work with finance to develop a pricing strategy.

·       Partner with marketing, engineering, and training to bring the product vision to life.

·       Ensure that various stages of product development are completed on time by leading, organizing, and requesting constant updates from cross-functional teams.

·       Collect, analyze, and report on data and make adjustments to development plans as needed to facilitate a successful new product rollout.

·       Represent the voice of the end consumer throughout the development process.

·       Ensure that high standards of reliability, quality, usability, and measurement are adhered to throughout each phase of product development.

Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:

·       Minimum of 8 years’ product management experience

·       Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)

·       Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

·       Passion for conceiving, creating and designing useful, innovative products

·       Experience identifying various business problems or product flaws and coming up with creative solutions

Language Skills: Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

What’s Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Associate Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 4 – 6 years industry experience (may be a combination of education and work experience in design and furniture industry)
  • Specific functional knowledge of the principles and theories of interior design profession
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2014
